If you receive a Microsoft Windows error message and and asked to send a report
when using MSN Messenger with a WebCam NX Ultra follow the information below.
There is a link to a patch to resolve the error that you have encountered with
the WebCam NX Ultra and MSN Messenger.
Please ensure the WebCam NX Ultra software is installed properly. Download
this
file, extract it on your hard drive. Locate and run the CtPatch.exe file
in the folder where you extracted it.
Then you should be able to open MSN Messenger, and click on the WebCam setting.
The application should function properly.
To install the patch, please follow these steps:
- Print out or save these instructions.
- Download the WebCam
NX Ultra VFW patch.zip file.
- Once the file has been downloaded, please right click on the file and choose
the option extract all.
- When the Windows XP File Extraction Wizard has opened, click on the Next button until finished.
- Browse to the folder where the file was extracted.
- Click on the CtPatch.exe file to begin the installation.
- Follow the instructions on any Windows that open.
